Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
This policy explains how to cancel a Kissmark subscription and when you can get a refund. It is part of our Terms of Service and does not affect your statutory rights.
1. Cancelling a subscription
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time yourself in Settings → Subscription → “Cancel subscription”. We may show you an offer to stay, but you can always continue and cancel. You can also email [email protected] with the subject “Cancel subscription” and we will cancel it for you.
- Cancellation stops all future charges. You keep your plan, its features and your tokens until the end of the period you have already paid for; your account then returns to the Free plan. Tokens you still have never expire.
- We confirm every cancellation on screen and, if we have your email address, by email.
2. Changing plan
If you switch plan — between Premium and Deluxe, or between monthly and yearly billing, in either direction — the new plan starts as soon as you buy it. Your old plan stops renewing, and we refund the unused part of it to your original payment method.
3. Your 14-day right to cancel
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you can cancel a new subscription or token purchase within 14 days of buying it and get a full refund, as long as you have not used it — that is, you have not spent tokens or used features that are only available with that purchase.
Because Kissmark is digital content supplied immediately, once you start using what you bought you ask us to begin supplying it and the 14-day right to cancel no longer applies to that purchase.
4. When we always refund
- You were charged twice for the same thing, or charged the wrong amount.
- You were charged after you cancelled.
- A renewal or automatic top-up happened that you did not agree to.
- A technical problem on our side stopped you using what you paid for and we could not fix it.
- We closed your account without a breach of our terms by you (refund of the unused prepaid period).
5. When we don't refund
- Partial billing periods after the 14-day period, when you cancel part-way through (changing plan is different — see section 2).
- Tokens that have already been spent.
- Accounts closed for breaking our Terms of Service.
We still look at every request individually and may make exceptions.
6. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the subject “Refund request” and include your username, the date and amount of the charge, and the reason. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and usually arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. When we refund a purchase, we also remove the tokens or plan that it paid for.
7. Chargebacks
If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us first — we can usually fix it faster than your bank. If you open a chargeback or payment dispute, we suspend the account while the dispute is open.
8. How charges appear
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor, so the name on your card statement may be a neutral descriptor or the processor’s name rather than Kissmark. If you do not recognise a charge, email us and we will help you identify it.
